Blue Mountain Animal Rescue Society Inc.(BMARS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supported by business and community partners and concerned citizens in Carbon County & surrounding areas. We sponsor & support the only Humane Society Police Officers who volunteer to prevent & defend those animals who are victims of Abuse, Neglect & Cruelty within Carbon County jurisdiction. BMARS provides care, protection and shelter to animals that are lost, injured, mistreated, abandoned or otherwise in need. BMARS offers no-kill solutions to the growing crisis of the domestic animal overpopulation. To minimize animal overpopulation through affordable spay/neuter programs & alternative. To create community awareness & gain support of animal needs through educational efforts. BMARS offers applications for their food bank, low cost spay & neuter resources and rabies clinics. There is also a emergency vet fund when available. Wheelchairs for Dogs, Senior for Senior Adoption Program, Seizure, Diabetic fosters, Feral Cat Shelter housing & also helping other rescues and shelters in their time of need & endeavors because NETWORKING SAVES LIVES! Whether it's rescuing animals stranded by natural disaster, holding off/on site adoption events or educating the public on animal welfare, BMARS will always be in the forefront to provide care for them.
